This afternoon “Madison Urban Ministry” (MUM) hosts a “Re-entry Service Fair.” These are a good way for returning Federal and State prisoners “to help strengthen the community”. “The fairs increase awareness of services and programs available in the Madison area”. Today the “Second Harvest” food bank is holding a Thanksgiving Food Drive. Donations of non-perishable food items can be dropped off at “Gold's Gym”, 2920 Hard Rock Road in Fitchburg. For details call 661-4653.

From now through January 2 “NECA” (National Electrical Contractors Association), the “International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers” (IBEW) and others have constructed the “Holiday Fantasy in Lights.” These are light pictures of a bulldozer, Santa and his sleigh, a Menorah and other holiday items. This month Mother Fool's Coffeehouse and Michigan artist “John French” offer radiant oil paintings. This is at 1101 Williamson Street in Madison. This is on-going daily. Call 259-1301 for details.
