Wednesday evening “The Rock County Progressives” will hold a memorial service for the Gulf. They will mourn the eleven workers dead, the devastation of wildlife, and the possible loss of a way of life. They will also quote “celebrate the rich cultural and natural heritage of this unique region.” This is in the North Pavilion of the Riverside Park in Janesville. The Insurgent Radio Kiosk is a five minute pre-recorded segment featuring a commentary, this-day-in-history, and a calendar of daily events. Events must be low cost or non-profit and of interest to people in and around the WORT listening area. It also should interest people who other media might not highlight.
