Summer Art Cart comes To Willy Street Park on the Corner of Williamson & Brearly streets on Saturday, Jun 24th at 9am. The Art Cart is a free, traveling art program that provides creative, outdoor art-making experiences to children ages 3+ and their families. Activities include both group and individual projects, with a variety of materials. The Summer Art Cart is co-sponsored by the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art and Madison School & Community Recreation. Contact Bill Jolin at (608) 242-0712 for more information. From 6-9 pm, at the the Center for Conscious Living presents Don Carlos Barrios, a member of the Mayan Elders Council and Mayan Priest, will speak on the Mayan Sacred Calendar, prophecies and predictions surrounding the year 2012). This weekend from today, Fri. June 24th until Sun June 26th AFL-CIO Organizing Institute is an intensive training designed to equip union staff, member activists and member organizers with a strong foundation in organizing. This will be at the Madison Labor Temple, 1602 S. Park St.

Annual Garage Sale of the Madison Arcatao Sister City Project (MASCP) is on Sat. June 25th from 7am until 4pm.
