Saturday, Creating for Causes: the Middleton Hills Art Fair takes place in Middleton. Local artists donate 25% of proceeds to area non-profits of their choice. Items featured include jewelry, purses, silk scarves, paintings sculpture, fused glass and found object art. The fair is from 9am-4pm at 6720 Frank Lloyd Wright Avenue. Sunday, The River Food Pantry will be hosting the Summertime Benefit Brunch at the Northside Farmers Market from 9am-1pm. For a small donation, get a generous breakfast with proceeds going to The River Food Pantry. Meet Madison Mallards mascot, Maynard G. Mallard, from 10-11am and enter to win Mallards tickets. Capital Brewery presents a benefit for ‘Clinic at a Time Inc.’, a non-profit dedicated to improving health care in Ethiopia, with a performance by Natty Nation and Ethiopian food and handmade goods available for purchase. Community Literacy is a Literacy Network ESL program designed to tutor adult learners one-on-one in a classroom setting where childcare and additional tutor support are available.
