Wisconsin women will gather at the Kingo Lutheran Church in Shorewood, north of Milwaukee, to discuss the impact proposed state budget cuts will have on working women and public schools – and to propose a plan of action to protect women and families. On Thursday, May 12th, The Silly Yak Bakery & Bread Barn, 7866 Mineral Point Road, will donate 10% of the total sales for that day to Badger Childhood Cancer Network. For the entire month of May, we will keep a "Put Your Change Here" box near the cash register to collect additional funds for this worthy organization.

Roy Zimmerman: Live From the Starving Ear is 90 minutes of Roy Zimmerman’s
wickedly inventive satirical songs. In twelve albums over twenty years, Roy has brought the sting of satire to the struggle for Peace and Social Justice.
