This week HospiceCare hosts an exploration of grief traditions from around the world. Also today there is a presentation on Hmong traditions by a Madison expert at noon. This is at the HospiceCare Center, 5395 East Cheryl Parkway. Call 327-7006 for details.

Monday evening the Madison Infoshop collective holds a meeting. Participants may find out about new projects and how to help keep this community resource center alive and kicking. That’s at 6:00 in 1019 Williamson Street. For details call 262-9036.

Monday evening Joan Cheever, legal affairs journalist speaks about what happened to inmates after the Supreme Court abolished the death penalty in 1972. This is in Rainbow Bookstore, 426 West Gilman Street at 6:00. Call 257-6050 for details.

Monday evening Saint Dunstan's Episcopal Church will hold a worship service and prayer vigil against the death penalty. The vigil will continue on Tuesday, November seventh as polls are open and people vote on this issue. It is at 6205 University Avenue at 7:00. Call 238-2781 for details.

Monday evening the Radical Film Series continues with "The Take" in which factory workers re-opened closed factories in Argentina under worker control. This is at 7:00 in room 1121 of the Humanities Building. Call 262-9036 for details.
