This evening, there is a mass picket in support of striking steelworkers at the Goodyear Plant in Sun Prairie. They are striking to prevent pay cuts, plant closings, temp workers, retirement insecurity, increased health costs. This is at the Goodyear Plant, 143 Goodyear Drive off by Main Street and Highway 151 from 5 to 6:30. For more information, call 256-5111.

Tonight, civil rights attorney William Taylor reads from his recently released memoir The Passion of My Times. William Taylor is a lawyer, teacher and writer in the fields of civil rights and education. He joined Thurgood Marshall at the NAACP Legal Defense Fund in 1954 and helped to write the 1958 brief that eventually forced school desegregation in Little Rock, Arkansas.
