The UW-Extension School for Workers offers vital Steward Training sessions this spring to train smart, enthusiastic union leaders.  This will be held on Wednesday evenings from March 7 through the 28 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Anderson United Way Center, 2059 Atwood Avenue. Wednesday Nite at The Lab presents “Biosafety, Compliance, and UW Influenza Research: The Real Story.”  Learn about the steps taken to mitigate the inherent risks involved with influenza research.  This is at 7:00 pm at the UW Madison Biotechnology Center, 425 Henry Mall.

 Tomorrow at noon, the “Social Concerns Lunch” presents State Senators Tim Cullen (D-Janesville) and Dale Schultz (R-Richland Center) to speak on public service and faith.
