The City Clerk's Office will hold Voter ID information session on requirements of the new Voter ID law & how to obtain a free ID for voting purposes from 6:30-7:30 pm at the Alliance Church, 602 Acewood Blvd., lower level. More sessions will be held throughout Madison through December. To schedule a presentation for your group, contact the Clerk's Office at 266-4601.

The Parental Stress line helps prevent child abuse by connecting parents who are stressed or feeling alone with volunteers who talk with them by phone. Training is necessary. Call 241-4888 extension 26 for details.

The Insurgent Radio Kiosk welcomes listener commentaries on subjects of interest to the W.O.R.T. listening community. Commentaries are limited to two minutes. Interested people who wish to do a Kiosk commentary may call the station at 256-2001 and leave a message for the Kiosk.

Community Literacy is a Literacy Network ESL program designed to tutor adult learners one-on-one in a classroom setting where childcare and additional tutor support are available. "The “Wheelchair Recycling Program” offers low cost, refurbished mobility and medical equipment to people that may not have the resources to obtain them new. This can include wheelchairs, walkers, bath items, grab bars and other assistive equipment for purchase. There are offices in Madison and the Greater-Milwaukee area.
