Best of the Fests Film Series: The Human Resources Manager will be shown at the Madison Public Library, Alicia Ashman Branch, 733 N. High Point Road tonight at 7PM. It is a Drama/Comedy set in Israel. Hebrew, English and Romanian with English subtitles. The Human Resources Manager of Jerusalem's largest bakery is in trouble. When one of his employees, a foreign worker, is killed in a suicide bombing, the bakery is accused of indifference, and the HR Manager is sent to the victim's hometown in Romania to make amends. Far from home, on a mission to honor a woman he didn't even know but has somehow grown to admire, the HR Manager fights to regain his company's reputation - and possibly his own humanity. ‘Twas the Brass Before Christmas featuring Sandy La Clair & The Impact of Brass is presenting a jazzy program of family Holiday Favorites this Saturday, from 11am to Noon in the State Capitol Rotunda. This is the 29th Annual Children's Holiday Program in the Capitol! Children will be invited to come up and perform with us all during the concert. The Insurgent Radio Kiosk welcomes listener commentaries on subjects of interest to the W.O.R.T. listening community. Commentaries are limited to two minutes. Interested people who wish to do a Kiosk commentary may call the station at 256-2001 and leave a message for the Kiosk.

The Respite Center is a safe place for kids, ages birth to fourteen, whose families are under stress or in crisis. They are looking for volunteers to play with kids four hours a week. Training is required. Call 244-5730 for details.
