Are you a talented home chef with a flair for fresh, seasonal cooking? If so, the Madison Area CSA Coalition needs your help! They are seeking recipes designed by community members like you for their “Farm-Fresh and Fast” cookbook project. Between now and July 31st, send in your original recipe that features fresh, local produce and is ready to serve in under 60 minutes. If they select it for publication, you’ll see your name, and your culinary creation, in print! Visit www.macsac.org for contest details, or email Danielle at info@macsac.org with questions.

The recall elections for State Senators are July 12th, July 19th, August 9th and August 16th.  These elections are a crucial first step toward reclaiming the Wisconsin we know and love, and we need your help to ensure the integrity of these vital elections. You can do this by volunteering as a poll watcher with the Election Defense Alliance. Training is provided and you are not required to live in the district to become a poll watcher.  To volunteer for poll watching, send an email to pollwisconsin@gmail.com.

Street Pulse, Madison's Homeless cooperative newspaper, seeks to find innovative ways to alleviate and raise awareness of homelessness and poverty, find accessible employment and provide a platform for important, marginalized voices neglected by popular media to be heard. Pick up an Issue of the Street Pulse Newspaper for a suggested donation of $1.00 from any of our vendors located on State Street, Capital Square, and Willy Street Coop and in other locations.  For more information or if you are interested in volunteering go to www.madisonstreetpulse.org.
