This weekend is Girls to the Front Fest in Milwaukee. It is a three-day event dedicated to the legacy and persevering the spirit of the Riot Grrrl movement. Events include music, activism, poetry, discussions, art, workshops, and films. Opening night kick-off features a reading and discussion by Sarah Marcus, author of Girls to the Front: the True Story of the Riot GRRRL Revolution.
