This evening there is an event to learn about and support continuing the historical sistering and solidarity with the people of Cuba and “Radio Victoria” of Cabanas, El Salvador. They are on the frontlines of the struggle against environmentally devastating gold mining practices by United States and Canadian corporations. Briarpatch seeks volunteers to work with teens in crises, by answering the crises line, providing emergency shelter, or, acting as family counselors. Some positions may require training. Call 251-6211 for details or, to volunteer.
