This evening in the Verona Public Library co-athor, Terese Allen talks about her book "The Flavor of Wisconsin: An Informal History of Food and Eating in the Badger State.” In it she discusses Wisconsin history through its many recipes and food traditions. This evening Madison Area Peace Network and others have a gathering to watch Obama’s speech expected to up the troops in Afganastan. This will be followed by a call to action and open mic.
