Today, the Chazen Museum of Art continues its exhibition of Portraits of Wisconsin Vietnam Veterans from 11 to 5 pm. The museum is located at 800 University Ave in Madison and admission is free. This exhibition includes nearly 30 large-format color portrait photographs of Vietnam veterans, taken by photographer James Gill. It is presented in conjunction with Wisconsin Public Television’s documentary film project “Wisconsin Vietnam War Stories.”

Tonight the non-profit organization CORBAN will hold it’s annual New Year’s Eve Party and fund-raiser at The Pizza Ranch, 900 Main St. in Waupun WI. This event is for the whole family. Proceeds will be used to fund CORBAN’s mission of building a community of homes in Peru to care for orphaned, abandoned and poor Peruvian children. More info at 920-326-6169

Tonight the UW Arboretum will offer a New Year’s Eve walk from 6:30 to 8:30. Hot chocolate will be provided after the hike. Meet at the Visitor Center, 1207 Seminole Highway. More info at 263-7888.

The Home Chore Volunteer program needs volunteers to help elderly people remain independent in their homes by doing such chores as laundry, snow clearing, shopping, cleaning, and other household tasks. For more information call 223-3100.
