Monday at noon on WORT’s A Public Affair host Allen Ruff’s guest is Ervand Abrahamian, Iran and Middle East Historian at Baruch College, City University of New York (CUNY) (and reportedly one of the very best historians out there these days writing on Iran). Call 256-2001 for details.

Monday evening on WORT’s Access Hour two friends present different kinds of Latin music from different places, with explanations of the rhythms and backgrounds. One will speak in English and the other in Spanish. This is at 7:00. Call 256-2001 for details.

Tuesday at noon on WORT’s A Public Affair Willy Becker hosts a discussion of the life and cultural importance of that “all-American every woman”, Anna Nicole Smith. Call 256-2001 for details.

Tuesday at noon the Lakeview Lutheran Church holds a senior forum to meet Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin. This is preceded by a lunch at 11:30. It is open to the public and accessible. Participants should RSVP today. For details and to reserve a seat call 244-6181.

There is a free computer lab in the Catholic Multicultural Center. It is available weekdays from 9:00-5:30 at 1862 Beld Street. Lab Users must always show a photo ID and take an orientation the first time. Call 255-1287 for details.
