Tonight, the Robert M LaFollette School of Public Affairs hosts Kathy Edin from the Department of Sociology at University of Pennsylvania. She will present an IRP seminar on "Promises I Can Keep: Why Poor Women Put Motherhood before Marriage". This is the first in the school’s 2005-2006 seminar series titled "Marriage, Poverty, and Public Policy". This is from 12:15 to 1:30 in 8417 Social Science. Tonight, Robert Kimbrough talks on “Socialism in Latin America: Venezuela, Cuba, etc.’”. He recently returned from Cuba.
